Richard Shrubb is a journalist and research analyst specialising in transport, energy and infrastructure systems. Over a career spanning more than two decades he has written for trade publications, national newspapers and international websites, covering subjects ranging from global supply chains to social policy and maritime affairs.
Richard began his professional career as a social affairs journalist, writing for specialist medical, housing and social care publications including Mental Health Today, Mental Health Practice and Nursing Standard. His reporting frequently explored the intersection between public policy and lived experience, examining how social systems affect the most vulnerable members of society.
