Some of the best work I do is online content writing. As a journalist and feature writer I love to tell you the story as it is. One client told me recently that when they read my writing it is as if they were right there. Let me tell your story - contact me! I also blog on the stuff I do such as attending the 2016-17 Vendee Globe start and finish via my blog on this site.
Check out my piece on oil junkies and the moral panic over pollution here.
Try My EV
I recently blogged for Try My EV, keeping readers abreast of the news in renewable energy and electric vehicles news around the world. Have a look at my appreciation of Tesla getting a bit stretched financially here. This firm is run by the same team who run E-Car Test Drives above.
Here are two blogs on sailing for Kavas Yachting. They draw on my considerable sailing experience and enthusiasm for the sport. Visit Better to stay in a port than to become a statistic (that discusses one of the three people I knew who died at sea in two years, Robin Walbridge on the Bounty tall ship), and another on buying a secondhand boat. Both of these blogs have increased visitors to the Kavas site by more than 200% above normal daily visits.
I have worked with the powered paraglider magazine website over the last two years. Aged 16 I did hang gliding training and am also an adept kite buggy flyer. Combine the two with my knowledge of sailing and not a little thrill seeking and you have someone who enjoys writing about most adventure sports. Have a look at an article I wrote on the tangled world of Paramotor ratings here.
I have been writing for Gateway Container Sales, out of Brisbane Australia since Christmas 2016. I put out four blogs a month, one of which is 2000 words long, looking at the various uses of repurposed shipping containers.
See an example of one of my long form blogs where I looks at the future of the unmanned supply chain here.
See one of my shorter pieces, this time on low water use beer breweries, here.
I have been contributing stories to the sensible drug policy blog, The Trip Report. What follows are three important pieces he wrote for this site:
I spoke to a mother whose daughter died of a drugs overdose, who's also calling for sensible drug laws to prevent other mothers from losing their children in the same way. Read her story here
I also spoke to the Chair of the UK's Law Enforcers Against Prohibition Neil Woods about his experience as an undercover cop, and how this taught him that drugs laws just aren't working. Visit the blog here
Finally, I went to the launch event of the Law Enforcers Against Prohibition (LEAP UK) in the Houses of Parliament last year. Here is his summary of the event
I write four news stories a day for the e-commerce logistics analysts Apex Insight based in London.
I have been posting blogs on the website, run by a London law firm, since 2014. This looks at the world of cycling in and around London, including cycle routes, local legislation and of course the fun side of cycling. Here is a piece where he shows how the Cabinet Secretary for Transport Chris Grayling said that 'cyclists are not road users'...
I had a close relationship with the Boating Hub for two years, writing weekly blogs on sail training as well as the FAQs pages linked to the sailing schools around the world linked to the site. See an example of one of his blogs, this one about the Cheeki Rafiki sailing school accident.
